History of 728 Main Street
From 1800's to Today728 Main Street was built around the 1880's by Stogdell Stokes on land purchased from the son of Jacob Stroud, the founder of Stroudsburg. Stogdell Stokes also founded Stokes’ Mill built on the Brodhead Creek around 1825.
